  • This is actually the civilian version of the SX28A .There was also a military version .

The SX28A has 6 bands ,coverage is from 540kc to 42 Mc.

The Sx42 is the successor to the SX28/28A rcvrs and covers from 540Kc-110Mc.

Both the '42 and the '28 are great rcvrs when properly restored .

Both are also TOUGH radios to restore!!

  • Man what a radio! I appreciate seeing that SX-28 actually doing SW broadcast-thanks for showing it.

By the way-to "agltube"-apples and oranges man-there is no comparison between the two and you know it.

  • ein bootsanker, prima.

  • Why would you want one of these? I got a nice new Bush radio for £20. You should go to Currys.

  • Nice Radio, is that model, better than the sx 42 or equal to ? It looks more military than the sx 42, can't figure out which one I really want. How many bands does that one have ? Thanks in advance, RatBastardCulhane.
