$15,000 buys a John Deere 1023 with loader and hydro transmission, warranty, parts availability from local dealer, service support, comes assembled, and is still worth something when you want to sell.
Some of you are real gluttents for punishment.
Think about it.

How good are these tractors, do they have enough torque, do they rust quickly, are the cheaply made..?

dose anyone own one with any hours?how are they holding up ?

i have a 224. the hydraulics are finicky on mine.i redid the filter with window screen and it works alot better. i now use 224 hyd fluid. it holds up alot better and the pump runs cooler. learned this after many pump rebuilds. i am on my 3rd front end. dont know what the deal is with that. other than that it is ok. for 10g i really cannot complain. i got a front loader and a box.

Yes. The transmission is a bit clunky on them but they're great.

Great Vid I have a 554 on the way. Can't wait.
how many hours did it take you to assemble? How were the instructions they gave you?

I takes about three full days to assemble. adjust and flush and replace fluids. The instructions are almost worthless. The best information on assembly is found on the web.
