umm, if you werent aware, they made 2 percent amino acids! yay! and then made 98 percent tar and acid, both which destroyed the amino acids... yep. better luck next time..

They have also created viruses, but since viruses must use a host cell to replicate they are not commonly thought of by the scientific community to meet the definition of "living".

They have already taken non-living material and by applying energy to it created amino acids which if you were not aware are the building blocks of life. They are the little machines that make cells function.
