Child Support ("Its Time For Change")

Paying Child Support destroyed my life,and nearly caused my death,due to how the system is structured,the child support system needs to be restructured,its time for change.

I never heard a case like your where they show up at your door with a notice,never happend to me before,i know ive paid every where they know how to get me,so if i ever get arrested for not haveing a job would be cruel and evil.

My child support just started my work took it out of my check well the support office said we didn't get the payment so now its my fault I apparently didn't pay it even tho it shows on my check stub they took it out!

I have joint custody with my ex wife. As soon as she had another child by some guy she filed for child support. What pissed me off even more was as soon as I got married she moved away and didnt allow me to see my kids. So shes in violation of the custody case which I will soon have my sister serve her. But the Judge didnt care about her violation because it had nothing to do with the child support case. The law is so unfair to men who really want to be there for there kids.

...not to mention the fact that she went to ireland BY HERSELF this last year. must be fuckin nice. especially wen my bf can barely go out to dinner without bein worried about how much hes spending. this system is A FUCKING JOKE. get real and have a credit card for the child support that only works for food, clothing, and school shit. if its anything else thats important the mom should write out a letter requesting why she needs the money for whatever. bulllllfuckinshit :(

ur clearly a good man. this bitch is lovin taking advantage of the system. my bf has a 9 year old kid. im 21--had to have my 34 year old boyfriend move into my parents house because he pays about 550 in month for child support. sad thing is the poor guy works 24/7 AND has his son every other weekend and every monday. kid comes over and smells like shit, has freddy kruger nails, (hes a boy by the way) gets F's on homework..oh, and we fine out that shes plannin a trip to cancoon with her bf soon..

@23mucchi I need to get off this page because it annoys me. I get tired of the courts thinking that guys are stupid. I've worked in the court for many years and saw how jealous females and some men, run and file CS out of revenge,it's crazy! Whenever you get a notice on the door, check the date. It should be seven days before the Show Cause or anything if it's not, it's unlawful. Little advice...don't talk to the sheriff anymore they work for them and document everything and pass it on.Good luck

Wow. I hate to see this. I can't stand women who file CS out of revenge! They're mad because their ex has moved out and on. I would see this everyday working in the court, then I decided to get a real job...lol! My husband went through CS issues but it's over now. But a lot of people have squatched CS through the UCC Redemption just something you may want to look in to, to see if it's right for you. It takes a while but it's worth it. Good luck.

Wow, that's crazy. I feel u though. I just received a notice stating I owe approximately $2000 in child support and that I had ten days to request a hearing if I think this amount is inorder. So I did, immediately. This morning I got a notice from the sheriff on my door, and after speaking with him he stated I got a Show Cause. A Show Cause means they can lock me up for being in violation: I thought I had a right to a hearing to dispute the amount.

well i will tell you something from the other side . i get child support from my son father . he make over 80000 thousand dollars a year ,he has a house an audi goes out and have a life . i have worked 12 hours a day ,struggle trought the years . my son is autistic . he father never spend time with him . i would have to say when you decide to have sex think tiwce and that is fro both side . i have never got the 17 percent that ny law has in place . i do not feel that i sould have to suffer alone
