odd it doesnt work... when i make a char. it has no face, doest show what they look like, and there arms are purple help!

You can use the Oblivion Mod Manager to help you. It does the installing of any mod for you and even uninstall them. It does take some time to learn everything about it and how it works but once you get used to it you'll never want to install a mod manually again.
