A short clip of Jesse, from about 1996. He is live, but the background music is canned.

  • @gertnood i play multiple instruments smart ass. and its not just some thing you instantly know what key something is in. You have to train yourself at it. I will say that after you learn what to listen for it really is simple. so thx for being a complete ass and making yourself look stupid. we all know for a fact you were a beginner at one point and im sure no one expected you to know how to finger a your first scale without them showing you did they? no they didn't so you can shut up :)

  • Amazing!

  • @spum789 If you play any instrument, you can figure it out in two seconds. If you don't, then why do you care?

    The answer is: F

He's playing a Bb trumpet, so he's playing in G.

  • Anyone know where you can get this arrangement?

  • Thank you for the Music !!!

  • anybody know wat key this is in?

  • His trumpet playing is awesome.

The program he's playing trumpet on totally sucks donkey balls.

  • @rmtoyama: not sure if that was meant as a dig, but comparisons to Kenny G in musicians circles are generally regarded as a very negative thing. Though Jesse does use voice like inflection which could be seen as "smooth jazzy". Soul should not be mistaken for smooth jazz (not necessarily a bad thing- just different).

Regardless, this is bad A soulful playing much like all his TOP stuff. What a remarkable talent. No comparisons to other greats (maynard, faddis, Morrison) needed!

  • Jesse sounds like Kenny G if he decided to play some trumpet instead of that soprano!
