you have to get on tv

The car seat they show goes up to 100 lbs. A parent can rear face until 5 then use the nautilus as a forward facing harness.
-
Car SAFETY with that chair? A child should be rear facing until the age of 4-5 years.... The neck of a small child (under 4-5 years) will break more easily when front facing...

Great information. Always read your car seat manual and your vehicle manual.
at molliemae91 this seat harnesses to 65 pounds and boosters to 100. it does not go up to 100 pounds. there are better seats on the market that harness up to 80 and 85 pounds. britax frountier frountier 85, radian 80. i like those seats because they are very safe. graco is good but britax and radian are excellent. i love that the radian rear faces to 45 pounds. children must rear face to at least 35-45 pounds and 3-6 years.

She should've added:
LATCH has weight limits and to refer to the car owner's manual for this as well.
LATCH is no safer than using the seat belt, it's just easier.
LATCH is only in cars that are 2002 or newer, BUT the TOP TETHER can be retrofitted into most cars that are 1996 or newer.
