Actually it is only the law in some places. I thought it was the law everywhere too. I was shocked when I went to another country & people would just slow down & some didn't slow down or move over at all. I asked the person I was visiting & he said there is no law that says they have to there. I was shocked!

How come in the USA cars don't move out of the way of an Ambulance? I wondered that when I visited as they have to and do more and stop at the side of the road in Canada.

Being a paramedic and my boyfriend also who is a paramedic we deal with this stuff all the time and it's a damn shame what people don't respect this and that they know it's a law and they still do it. I was lucky many times were we could have lost our ambulance due to that so yeah we were lucky on the other hand my boyfriend was not. but he is still alive.

I truly and honestly cannot believe that the driver has a license. The poor man was in enough crisis, having a heart attack! Then the ambulance gets hit by that freak! Oh, God I can't believe them.
