Yet the Bible records the sad news of how the people in the last days would actually choose to be scoffers instead of taking God up on His offer to be rescued before its too late. The only reason there is this "issue" of creation vs evolution is the book of Genesis. Accept it - Genesis is FIGURATIVE. Once you accept that, everything science reveals simply shows how amazing creation was. A man from a simpler time wrote Genesis. Do we live thousands of years ago or do we live today? God is here now too, not just during those times in the Bible. Change, people!

Because the tome of the "cavemen" was over long before the bible starts.FOr Mr.Crone everything is either past opr present.For him it seems there is no difference between different times in the past. Strange guy....

I was always questioning the notion of cavemen on the Earth after becoming a Christian because nowhere in the Bible does it give evidence of them, instead, like Pastor Crone says: there was an advanced civilization. Amazing evidence- the planes especially. Why isn't this being taught in the schools or shown in any textbooks.....

I'm not exactly sure what point Mr. Crone is trying to make here. The History Channel video only showed controversial evidence of modern human technology during acient times. Scientists believe modern humans have been around many thousands of year before what the bible suggests. Scientists never implied "knuckle-draggerss" existed during the times implied in that HS video). Overall, a very weak and confusing argument from Mr. Crone. Is he trying to twist things around to suit his conclusion?

During this judgement on America and the world (the Global Financial Crisis) the majority still scoff and insult the Lord. If seeing is believing and the desire for "copper-bottomed" proof is holding us back, it will be too late when this manifests. The Lord is not slack concerning His promises, but longsuffering in that all should come to repentence. Every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess "Jesus is Lord."
