Whitaker took him to school in this fight. Both are among my top five favorites all-time though.

it was a draw because in order for a fighter to defeat a champ he need to punish him not just out box him chavez did not look beat up that is why it was a draw look at all the fight and the only time the champ loses is when hes face looks f up and the challenger is all clean

What a diference of the Greatest ALI (DANCE AND FIGHT) .. sorry i like the boxing defense style but that fight is bizarre.. Pernell 32-1 maybe win by slap points but is more young than chavez (33) with 87-0 .. the fact is chavez prime is a mothaFuc assasin unbeatable pit bull . The record speaks for itself. floyd too get a gift with castillo and DLH. DLH with Trinidad etc etc
floyd style is more cleaner than Whitaker
