Vincent M. Libweshya is the nephew of Zeituni Onyango, the woman president Barak Obama calls "Auntie Zeituni" in his best selling novel, 'Dreams From My Father'. In 2010, while running for office in the nations capital of Canada - Libweshya would be wrongfully accused of a crime he did not commit by the city's police chief and mayor, and although his innocence was without a shadow of a doubt the truth to his situation, city officials allowed the then 25 year old to spend months behind bars in the Super Maximum holding facility at Innes Detention Centre in Ottawa Canada - resulting in his disqualification from a Mayoral race for wich he had been campaigning for since 2006. A vulgar violation of ones rights as declared by the universal charter of human rights - Libweshya has been fighting to have his voice heard and as a result has faced imprisonment numerous times.
Destitute and fighting extreme poverty & homelessness, Libweshya now turns to the men and women of faith across the world in hopes that the prayers of a million people will bring a miraculous turn to the tragedy he has been living for over a year.
