Hi there, I ll give you much more easier way to diagnose Adult ADD: 1) All people who had tragedies in life (ex: car accident, ...). 2) Most intelligent or creative patients. 3) None of of normal or average patients. .

@sohnicthehedgehog I have ADHD and people are like how come your so smart then?? How come your going to a good school?? How come you have so many friends?? It gets anoying sometimes...... Im a normal person that gets a bit hyper and cant concentrate on anything for too long.... I manage to control the part where i wanna go thump somebody..... :/

@Annelies19532 I take it you're a follower of the Scientologists. There are, in fact, tons of valid scientific research that validates adhd. The latest research even identifies the specific genes governing the deficit in the neural pathways, leading to adhd.

Labeling? You get a diagnosis and the treatment for it. For the sake of argument, apply your argument for internal medicin. Don't label someone with diabetis. People might figure out they would die earlier than others.

@86egh Hello, I'm only 13 and i probably shouldn't give advise because im not that experienced but there is a possibility that i may have ADHD and i know a lot about it. Well for one thing, ADHD and ADD have nothing to do with intellegence. anyways. those are the symptoms of ADHD but dont think of it as a bad thing. People with ADHD have a lot more creativity and other stuff like that than people who dont have ADHD. ADHD can make someone very interesting.

@Annelies19532 LOL and neither does Schizophrenia or Bipolar disorder. They are diagnosed the same way. Just because "you" think it doesn't exist doesn't make the medical community and everyone else that have it wrong or that it's a conspiracy. Why would the "pharmaceutical" industry make up? There are plenty of other problems out there to deal with. As for Psychiatrists being involved, I think maybe you should go visit one. LOL

There is NO scientific evidence. The theory ADHD is completely based on assumptions. ADHD is a "illness" made up by psychatrists working for the farmaceutical Industry's. Children are not allowed to be children anymore. Some are quit, some are busy and some are in between. Our gouverment want's you to behave as they like. Realize what it means when you're labeled. And what does this labeling means for you ? Realize what'll happen, when you're put on Ritalin knowing you'll be a addict forever
