What a waste of a perfectly good car

An average 4 MPG improvement? That's a fuel savings of $339.26 per year for the average driver at 15,000 miles a year. All that for just a $350.00 per month car payment, $1000 per year more on insurance. Wow! All I have to do is spend an extra $5200 per year to drive a new Camry and save $339.26 per year in gas? Sign me up! That's like this friend I have, we'll call him "John" . He goes to Atlantic City and blows $2,000 or $3,000 on a weekend and wins $500 and thinks he made out. So sad.

For the engine to seize so fast tells me it was still tight. That means the engine wasn't even broken it fully yet. I know that these cars go 200,000 to 300,000 miles on the original engine in taxi fleets (the cars often log over 1,000,000 miles with 3-4 engines in it's career), so what we have here is a tight, like new car being destroyed to buy a car that gets 4-5 MPG more. Doesn't make sense to me. EPA estimates 18 city 25 highway, versus what? A Camry that does 22 city and 29 highway?

Cash for Clunkers was a waste for most vehicles, look at all the perfectly good vehicles that run good. I have a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis with over 111K miles, it runs like one with less that 50K. If people would take care of their cars then we wouldn't have this problem.

Wow, I have a Grand Marquis with more miles then this. I'd be more then happy to take this car

thats the last thing we need is a bunch of angry woman on the roads

Oh ya that sure looks like a real piece of shit. I sure hope that the new owner bought Japanese and didn't further fund Government motors. FUCK OBAMA!
