Travers With Crayfish.wmv

Out Icefishing at Traver's Reservoir. Slow day and managed one Pike. Had more action with a Crayfish which made it intertesting at least.

I caught two cray fish there this year on minnows. Was weird.I knew i had something on my line but no fight.Got them in the boat to get a few pictures and then put them back.

Got 3 more crayfish into the boat on the weekend. Pretty weird catching them when you want a 50 cm plus walleye.

Give it a couple more years and we'll see alot more them and any other watersheds that are fed from the EID...

The first time I thought the Jig and mInnow had some weight on it but no fight to it. The Crayfish let go about 1 ft from the hole. Wanted to get it up on the Ice and get some footage before letting it go.

It looks like the population of them are growing in Travers.

hey terry you should head closer our way,fincastle lake has been pretty good as well as chin,my buddy went there the other day and his dad caught a 20 pound pike and he ended up with 8 whitefish as well!! been too busy to hit up the lakes so far but hopin to get out for a couple afternoons yet. always enjoy your vids,keep em comin.
