Those guys have to be the worst shots I have ever seen

People don't know what "hard to kill ducks" are until the hunt in Louisiana. By the time we get the birds they are blind shy and call shy. You wanna see really hunting and not just sitting in a boat with one call and shooting, come to Louisiana with the real duck hunters.

You definitly need a lot of practice at aiming, one of you was swerving his gun in circles, you got to accompany your game in flight not just trow you shot anywhere, looked more like playing BINGO.

@dberry7878 True, but theyre still shooting pretty bad (though that was likely their first time shooting at divers). Here in SC, bufflehead are by far the hardest duck to kill that I've shot at (at least for me). Fly fast as shit and are tiny. Nearly every one we bring down we have to shoot a couple times on the water (and we still lose some that dive). Most people laughing at them shooting are used to mallards coming in cupped up with their feet out. HUGE difference in shooting that, and divers

I live in Nova Scotia and sea duck hunting is my fav. Its kinda funny to take a puddle duck hunter out for their first time, you hear alotta excuses during the first box or two they shoot lol. But, its all about fun. Decoys can be fixed and they make shotgun shells by the millions. Your shooting will get better after a while, shooting sea ducks is an art. A tip: I usually set up so as to have the ducks bunch up or "knot" up in the sweet spot. Multiple kills with the first shot KILLS not cripple

LOL to all you "bad shot" guys, I can tell you never hunted sea ducks. I have had my limit of 6 puddlers in 7 shells one time this season. Typically a limit rarely takes me more than 10-12 shots. Sea ducks are 10000x harder. First off, you need a solid hit to take them down. Half the time they are right on the horizon and its tough to track them when shooting. Also, they fly so many times faster than a mallard, usually with a stiff tailwind making them even faster. 12 foot leads or more!

u guys gotta lead ahead of the duck or whatever cause aiming right at it while its flying wont get them go trap shooting every once in a while trust me it WILL help.good luck.
