God expects us to share the Gospel and His love with our children @ the minimum as we have most influence over them, and care most for their souls. Religion SHOULD be what binds family/community together as individual believers in Jesus, who agree with the Bible and want to live together according to God's Holy word. But it gets out of control and sometimes the relationship with Jesus is forgotten, and the traditions of the group become the main focus. God AND religion. NOT Religion without God

@Coby50 to truly be free from religion means you have no problem with working within a religious system (in not of) god works through religion ..because if we really understood what religion was we would know that it is almost inescapable aside from oneness with HIM (no matter how "non religious" it looks)..he is so beyond where we are that everthing he communicates with us is based upon our maturity and growth ..there is no right or wrong...he meets us where we are at.
