2008 Pontiac G8 GT - Lingenfelter supercharged: 418 stroker from Texas Speed, along with LS3 CNC 72cc heads, Lingenfelter gt9 cam, the Magnacharger MP1900 TVS, Roto Fab CAI, full length exhaust, long tube headers/Corsa mufflers, 3200 stall converter, tune, and aftermarket fuel delivery system.
Car produced 538RWHP and 472RWTQ on only 5lbs of boost.

2003 Ford Cobra Terminator: Steg. IV ported blower & TB, C&L inlet pipe, Metco CAI, Metco 6lb lower crank kit, Metco 3.5in alt. pulley, Metco double bearing idler pulleys, Metco snub idler, LFP intercooler reservoir, LFP HD heat exchanger, MGW shifter, Spec 3 plus clutch, Spec 2 piece aluminum flywheel, Metco driveshaft loop, D.S.S. level 5 half shafts with hardened yokes/inner CV joints, billetflow IRS brace, Brembo drilled/slotted rotors, SLP loudmouth exhaust, Ford GT twin pumps, Mafia puck and injectors - 501 RWHP, 505 RWTQ @ 17lbs.

  • highly doubt he raced a KB cobra and barely pulled lol and if this story is true the driver sucks just like the driver in this video i didnt even here the cobra get on it at all a g8 wont beat a cobra unless stock...oh yeah i have a g8 with a magnacharger and a cobra sorry g8 is a boat

  • @rekjavicxxx not a kb car. Its a ported eaton. meaning factory blower...with port work. huge difference between that and a KB. its odd that its your post video, you put steg IV port in the info, and that you can clearly see the factory eaton sc painted black with the ford symbol right on it lol.

  • i love sifting through racing vids on youtube and seeing dumbass teenagers compare the difference in torque and horsepower, that isn't the only thing that matters retards, there's differentials, weight, hp/trq. @ certain rpms, and most importantly the driver

  • not to take anything away from the g8, but 20k worth of mods and labor to pull a bolt on cobra isn't that impressive. Race a cobra with an aftermarket blower and try this again, that would be interesting.

  • sounds like in this video he wasn't even on it, lol. we all know what a cobra sounds like in the throttle and i never heard it in this video. get real, there's a reason the gov't had to bail out GM.

  • The cobra in this video is a buddy of mine and it is a ported eaton. In this video he was only puttig down 440 as after the video we went to a dyno to see what was wrong. My g8 was on small blower setup and 530 or so hp.

    It a other video on here I did race the kb cobra and lost by about a car or so. I was about 630 on larger blower. Later I pullied down further and ran a 100 shot and ran 10.07 in the 1/4 @136. Car is down again removing blower and going twin turbo. We are searching for 9s.

  • @rekjavicxxx yea saw that after, lol. g8 didnt really pull on the kb at all. still kinda a confusing set of comments lol must not be seeing the one that started the whole thing. in anycase fast is fast.

  • @Topfueltrooper not that people dont swap gm stuff into mustangs, but most of them are drag only cars and older. I havent seen many street cars with that swap. And just so you know the factory cobra was rated 390hp 390 tq and most bone stock cobras put 360 to 370 hp to the ground. look it up if you need to.

  • Let's see.... A 418 striker motor supercharged against a 281 ci supercharged mustang. Gee I wonder why it wasn't' close.
