The longest continually running folk music festival in the country in Kerrville, Texas. Through the Texas Folk Music Foundation, programs to promote songwriting for adults and children are held on the Quiet Valley Ranch throughout the year.
"Kerrville Campfire" by Pat Wictor. Additional Vocal and dobro by Abbie Gardner
my first year attending the festival was 2002, I had never experienced anything like this, but was totally excited and loved everything about it. 9 years later, I am still excited about 'coming home'. See y'all on Friday!! <3

we keep telling our friends that they've got to go to kerrville on memorial day weekend and hang out w/ us! this is what woodstock wanted to be. this is what every community wishes it could be. if you can stand the heat (& there are ways around it), you owe it to yourself to experience the festival. you'll start out a kerr-virgin, & emerge a kerr-vert. go w/ someone who's been there before, to show you all the lovely things you might miss by yourself, & so you don't suffer from the heat.
