IF YOU ONLY WANT TO SEE THE THROW, FAST FORWARD TO 2:40. Most unique design I've seen on a trebuchet. It's a variation on the floating arm, except the entire arm assembly falls with the counterweights, peeling off at the bottom to fling the punkin. Videos shows the raising of the entire assembly, a long pause for safety check, and then the firing at 2:40. This throw went 1442 feet; shorter than their Friday throw by ~100 feet

  • You can cut the first 2:45 of the whole video

  • Or, if you're not interested in seeing how the machine is set to throw, you could click the link that says "FAST FORWARD TO 2:40" in all caps. Thank you for your comment!
