personally i think the acting, production and directing is way too good to have them just come up with some miraculous way for her to suddenly be cured of a fatal type of cancer. i truly think they'll let her die peacefully, and have ji wook keep her close in his memories. it's a beautiful journey, watching them fall in love despite her limited time on earth. <3

while others comment about the actress and yada yada, i just wanted to say this. lmao. i couldn't help but find it funny how they had their faces so close to each other so many times and yet their first kiss was when they weren't even that close. which prob had everyone at the edge of their seats the way they looked at each other. brilliant climaxing XD bwuhaha!

i think KSA is stunning. and even so, i doubt the drama would've been as successful had they chosen some "obviously" beautiful actress like kim tae hee or shin min ah. this is supposed to show that people can fall in love despite of illness, and especially despite physical appearance. he fell in love with her for what he saw within, which is how every romance should be. :)

i think just let the haters be..no use wasting our breath...if they want some pretty young thing for LDW, then go ahead. LDW only matters to me when he was beside Sunny anyway, don't care much for his looks or his acting before...plain boring. For me, Sunny's beauty needs no explanation, it's their waste for not giving her a chance. Let's just keep her to ourselves!!!

I believe she really take good care of herself... as for LDW yes he's one damn hot looking guy and at first I had reserves of them pairing up but after the series I'm glad the directors found the perfect cast for this series and I didn't expect the chemistry it was smoking but more of that it was how they portrayed their respective roles that I can't help but love this series...

@jastinel why is there any haters of KSA or even the soap. The actors did a very good job in this it felt so real...their story... their love it didn't appear forced... and even when KSA was doing my name is kim sam soon for me she had always been one of those pretty faces in korea but more of her physical appearance I always remember her for her great acting skills... this is my fave korean series out of all the series I've watched and the pairing of LDW and KSA didn't expect it!

If u will see KSA in person she is prettier and look much younger than her agae. Even LDW, was shocked when he saw KSA in person, in an interview he said that ...KSA is so pretty and her face is so small like a child. i HOPE u CAN APPRECIATE THE DRAMA MORE THAN THE PHYSICAL ASPECT OF THE ACTRESS, WHO GAVE HER HEART AND SOUL TO THIS DRAMA, that`s why more people are hook to SOAW.

This is my fave drama in 2011!

For the info of some people here, KSA is one of the most beautiful actress in Korea, in this drama if u notice, in most of her scene, she`s not wearing make-up. If You watch Breaking Dawn, look at Bella, she was dying in the movie, same as KSA here. Does Bella look young and pretty, no! In this drama KSA lost a lot of weight, she sacrifice her beauty for this role. There are only few actress who would do that for the sake of a role.
