It was awesome being a teenager in the 80s. So much better then for teens than it is now. My daughter is a teen now and I am ashamed about some of the stuff she tells me goes on at high school--teens are so mean and disrespectful. Most teens now days seem so unhappy. When I was in high school everyone seemed so happy, and not messed up like they are now. If only teens could go back in time and visit the 80s they would be dancin and enjoying life.

i had my 20th birthday few months back, and i totally agree with you. I thought being a teen through the 2000's sucked.

I love 80's music and see films and documentaries based back then all the time and genuinely wish i had been a teenager then rather than now.

I love this movie and I know how Samantha felt. My parents forgot my 16th B day as well.
