hey i have problems... i dont how to explain my problem 'cause my english is bad XD but i have problem with that tool. I mean when i see this video its easy.
But when i go to my photoshop i do all exactly like u do ...and i dont see than erase the thing that i want to erase. star to paint double or just full the thing that i want to erase.

i hope u can help me.
just one i make it right.
ps. my photoshop is the same...
