i know it music that has been heavily sampled, i watched a documentary about Amon Tobin and he used to take a Mic into places like factories and car garages, that why you hear all them industrial metals clanks and machinery

pretty much everything from "crying over pros for no reason" sums up what you missed

then you add in synths which everybody mistakes to be from dubstep but autechre (just as an example) has been using for practically forever

but in retrospect, it has nothing really to do with hip hop, idm has pretty much always had a broken beat

but for some reason neither listeners of hip hop or idm will accept it as theirs, thus dub confusion

but idm is pretty much everything so

you could call it intelligent hip hop, but its not so good on the tongue

you go to moth rythmn and the name makes much more sense

also if you go to fool's rythmn youll hear the other influence which is kinda dubsteppish (both tunes by two fingers)

but really youll hear basses like that all the way back to 1994 with autechre
