"One of the most epic short films ever animated entirely by a single
person, and the best 12 minutes you'll spend online today."
- Brian K. Vaughan, Y: The Last Man, Ex Machina, Pride of Baghdad
A young American pilot fighting in 1944 writes what may be the final letter of his life, bearing his soul to the man who inspired him to enlist his father, a stoic veteran of World War I.

While the video is very well done, Kanemoto misses the main point of U.S. involvement in WWII against Germany -- to put Hitler's factories and transportation resources out of service, NOT to kill civilians. My father was a B-24 navigator, shot down Sept 13, 1944 and held a POW in Stalag 1 until liberation on May 13, 1945. He later told me those mission targets were never cities or civilians. Hitler was a monster to be stopped but cutting off his war machinery.

Wow wow wow. I absolutely love this. You are so talented, I can't even believe this is possible without a major network backing (I have no background in animation whatsoever). Well done, this is fantastic!
