  • @laggie24 .....You have captured the essence of MF....sometimes ridiculed, but always able to tread through the down times ...and be rediscovered.....unlike so many who have arrived and left , there is no substitute for quality and that equals longevity.....You called her an icon....wisdom from Budapest....

  • My fav. from her ... As tears goes by ... BUT ... as the years pass it change the meaning (giving this lovely tune to us when she was 17). Marianne ... she is classy and cool - no matter what age shows on her face ... what more do you want out of an icon ... from Budapest

  • Hell ! I think she looks good for her age ! Whats with all the coments? Look at the rolling stones and you think they all have 25 years on her not just 5 or so !

  • I was a fan at the beginning....and I am still a fan....

  • Singing in Israel....? yea moron...where did you want her to sing ? In Lybia ? Well I guess if she had a death wish, wanting to be stoned by the mob, then certainly it would have been a good idea to perform there....ha ha....I am sure Kadafi is her number one fan.......

  • Tough s*hit, Fascist idiot.

She's part Jewish, you know, despite some unfortunate stupid comments she once made when she was still on drugs - just like Courtney Love.

  • she is a legend , no coment

  • A new album, wow! I'm really looking forward to that! Thanks for sharing

  • I have to be a little annoying and say she's 61 to correct you. Forgive me, I'm a Marianne enthusiast and she does ROCK!!! Look for her new album, "Easy Come, Easy Go" coming out in September. It features duets with Nick Cave, Rufus Wainwright, Jarvis Cocker, Keith Richards, etc. A lot of FASCINATING covers--I know you'd all be interested!
