Can you use also effects with the left and right side of mixer when your playing cds?

@djrensz86 No you cannot use the effects while paying cdjs,cause the 4d has no effects.

only could do that if i map the sliders via midi to the efx1000 or the korg kp3 or any effect unit,but not standalone like the built in effects mixers.

thats why i´m using an efx1000 separated.

Most of the time,i use the sides to control lights while playing =)

what are you doin with the apc40 in the background? are you producing? do u use ableton?

I use it to control the visuals with modul8 while i´m mixing live,also i use it when i´m producing in ableton live.

but to mix live,i better use my cdjs,i love the jog feeling,i don´t like too much the software to mix live.
