Cleland McAfee wrote this after losing two nieces to diphtheria in 1903 and hundreds if not thousands of people have enjoyed listening to it here (and I am among them)...this is one of nearly 100 hymns my grandmother and I found common ground on the last 2½ years she was around...and I know, 7 years after she passed, that she is upstairs enjoying it as well

Thanks Lance, we used to sing this in church when I was younger. So nice to hear it again, I had forgotten all about it. a nice hymn for offertory as well, don't you think? I did put a few videos on finally if you would like to watch them. remember, I am not as good as you, but I DO love to play for the Lord.
