the roads were closed leading to NHS, so it seemed close, but it opened after only one day of being closed due to poor air quality and potential fire risk... it would have been hard for the school to burn because of its structure, and what it is made of...

One of my friends said that she lives in the part of Irvine where you can see the plains up in flames. o__O;
But anyway, I live in Irvine (just not in the part where the fire was, thank god), and for a while, I thought that the winds would pick up and blow the fire towards my place. O__O; Luckily, the side of Irvine I live in was never affected--well, it was only affected by the horrible stench of burnt ashes.

Holy shit, I live in Irvine too. I was in SDSU at the time, so I didn't get to see it. Did you go to NHS by any chance? I heard it got close to it.
And Halo 3 is the best game ever, glad you used it for this video. When I saw the sky turned orange, it looked like the Halo 2 sky.
