@poetexcellence Whats sad about all these videos is no one knows this history of how it started, I do cause I was one of the first to bring the skating to this area. I use to like jumping barrels but I was also one of the best skaters of that time. I say one of, Slow motion was my idol, my stage name was dancer, just to name a few. One day I will put together a video of the truth, we was untouchable and invented many of the moves people do today. One day, the truth will come out..

Many feel that the after party is the better party these days. It's held beside and after the skaters' circle, start time around 7 pm weekends. Search youtube using Central Park Skaters After Party. during the winter months November-March, there is no skaters' circle and the after party starts around 3 pm on weekend winter weekends when the temperatures at least in the low 50s with dry conditions.
