The federal government never had a right to dictate what a person puts in their own body in the first place. Edward's solution was more federal control under a different name. Stop voting in these freedom stripping, self-interest loving politicians.

What a stupid answer. FDA has been as irresponsible in its unwillingness to sanction medical cannabis as the staunchest opponent. Their business is to authorize medications that can be patented; they are handmaidens to big pharma and could care less about sanctioning medicinally effective cannabinoids that are currently available in an unpatentable form.

..(not to mention that it rots ur brain after extended abuse) oh yah they benefit directly from that aswell... and they keep something away from you that will destroy ur short term memory if u abuse it ( not to evan mention the benifits from use, since there are NO benefits from cigarettes or alcohol)... Lame system if you ask me.

What is wrong with some of you.. the only things worse than Marajuana is the Legal cigarettes ur government infects you with and profits from, and the alcohol that only removes you inhabitions increasing crime and violence

i agree. ive been smoking pot for years and ive never tried any other drugs. the whole gateway theory is just to scare people. however, i do disagree with the fact that people do drugs to "escape". People do drugs for curiosity. Think about it, if you've never tried cocaine before and you're having a bad day your not gonna think "oh im having a bad day let me see if this will fix it". People do it for curiosity, hell, that's why i tried pot.
