Never heard any of this stuff before. I find it so sad. He was an acid casualty, so let that be a warning to you guys who love drugs. Drugs are bad, m'kay?

Great honor to Dave Gilmore who had the patience to tease this out of Syd while Syd was at the height, of his of madness, syd was in direct contact with the muse, it must have been dificult

that is such a fantastic voice reminds me of death in june and some other really great mod material. that deep slightly nasal very intelligent british accented voice. this is the very first time i've ever heard him sing. can't believe i was born in 70 and missed all that probably the greatest thing that ever happened on earth

just read a very irregular head. i love this man as a long lost brother. i was a part of the punk/mod scene for 13 years and found some darkness that i can't escape (familial, etc). syd i think could be credited with being the king of mods, or the first mod. this is what i believe: Roger Barrett, slang nicknamed Syd, was the GENIUS and you all fucked it up and you should apologize here or in the next life. but death is the last great adventure, so tip my smoke and wine to you, Syd...CUsoon

Genius. Syd Barrett was Percy Shelly and Lord Byron transported to the 1960s.
I may sound like a nerd for saying this, but I wonder if Syd would have liked The Legend of Zelda games if he ever got to play them. Since he always had a fascination for fairies, elves and fairytale-like settings and stories, I'm pretty sure he would have enjoyed the series a lot.

Or we could stop with all the fake borders and cultures and come to a better conclusion that music is the universal language for all to influence and enjoy. No matter your country.
