  • Hey great job with the narrating and video capturing. By the way forgive me if this has already been asked before but how exactly do you record your game play? what program do you use and how much does it cost? Anno Domini 1257 is a great mod though, my favorite so far, aside from star wars conquest for the original M&B.

  • @SirSlaughter357 Hey mate, thanks for the kind words. The programme I use to capture is the Full version of FRAPS, which can be sourced from this site wwwdotfrapsdotcom/buy.php for the sum of £25, just replace the dots with .

Or of course you can acquire it how ever way you want ;)

  • @sparky668 cool thnx man, your video's have inspired me to create ones of my own, only based after the M&B Fan/Fic Hist/Fic short stories I wrote awhile back during high school. By the way, is windows live movie maker a good video editor? and can you think of any good sound editors?

    thnx again.

  • @SirSlaughter357 I used WMM to do all of my videos, I find it to be a reliable piece of software if you know how to use it right. I use FRAPS to capture, and I run the raw footage through VirtualDub to crop and sharpen the image and I record using the standard windows capture programme then run the files back through MP3Gain to get rid of all the bits that make it sound horrible.

In a few of the episodes, it was literally an editing problem that resulted in odd audio.

  • @Poltair Yeah I coudl easily listen to this as a radio show.

  • And I have returned to say that I've finally decided that what makes this a fantastic piece of work is certainly your script and your narration. The gameplay footage provides a good visual stimulus but I'd wager you'd still have views if this was narrated on a slideshow, or perhaps even a blank screen, not as many, but people would still listen.

  • I don't usually watch videos all the way through but this was very, very interesting. Very cool. Wondering how I'd sound doing a monologue for a siege in that pelopininsular war mod.

    But very good mate.

  • @CallingOfTheTiger A lot of difference. Support has currently been put on hold for the repository download. The SVN version is a constant work in progress where you can download all the new items and textures they release straight into the folder through the Tortoise SVN. It has added so much to the game and made it look fifteen times as good as the original mod and engine. It is, a work in progress much like the other mods but its one you can continuously update for extra items and such.

  • @sparky668 Excuse me, Whats the diffrence between the SVN version and the one you download of or respritory?

  • @sparky668 Haha thats awesome. Yea when the mod gets a bit more polished i think it would be awesome if you did this type of series in that mod.
