I want to swap a motor into a 2.5rs. I think the sti motors are far too expensive for me right now, and think a wrx motor would suffice with some bolt ons and a better turbo?

look into a jdm version 2 STi swap. 3000$ and the blocks are stronger than a 02wrx

Used ej255 bc it was cheaper and bc we replaced internals anyways with forged units. Dropped car off last night for oil change, compression test and then the tune. Can't wait until Friday

Awesome, I test drove a forged hybrid 18g WRX setup before I found the 20gWRX I just got. Built ej255 and 6spd for me! Youll be into the 12s for sure bro, CLean ass car man! Cheers!

That's right. It's now 2.5 hybrid forged with new vf39 bigger tmic and injectors. It's going to get tuned this Friday. Hoping to see 285-290whp or more lol
