Under the motto Blinds go radikal a non-profit group of called Flying Blind is organizing a day in Diest, Belgium where blind people will be invited to enjoy a tandem skydive for free.
Skydiving is an adventurous activity that consists on enjoying the feeling of a zero gravity and weightless environment through a free fall jump from altitude which is stopped by the opening of a parachute. Its about the unknown, the thrill, the excitement and the adrenaline pump. The event is aiming to bring a really exiting day to the blind people community.
Since its inception in 2005, FLYING BLIND has been entirely run and managed by a group of volunteers who are normally working professionals and contribute their time to this worthy cause. It is an independent non-profit organisation that aims to hold this event annually.
