I saw these three young "Gandharvas" performing at Sundhara (Kathmandu, Nepal) and I could not help video recording them in my cell phone. I have known Gandharvas of Nepal carrying an age old tradition of singing songs of valor and love which was unique to each Gandharva. However, I was pleasantly surprised to hear them sing a Nepali movie song in this instance. Also, this is the first time I saw a 'she' Gandharva (female) performing alongside the male, and that also, equally well. A Gandharva is a Nepali equivalent of medieval times 'Minstrel' of Europe.

  • The Gaine Dai giving it all at :54 and the Gaine Bahini's voice at :58 could shame a nightingale.

  • Spellbinding! As one grows wiser, the pull towards one's root grows even more so stronger. Thanks for the beautiful melody!
