VGO Anime Boston 2010 Part 12 of 14

This is the Video Game Orchestra concert from Anime Boston 2010. I was able to record the entire concert and I will be uploading it all. It will be split into 14 parts. I will not be editing my videos. Everything will be included except for when they go into intermission and the time it takes me to switch out dvds every 30 minutes or so. I may eventually label each video with what songs/games are in the video, but I'm not going to do that for the time being.

Please be aware that I recorded this for myself so I recorded it the way I wanted instead of the way I thought you would want to see it. I am holding up the video camera with my arm the entire time so the camera moves a lot. I started off by recording them on stage with lots of zooming in but I eventually mostly stick to recording one of the big screens since my arm is tired and they can get good close ups and camera angles. I was sitting in the left section of the balcony and couldn't see the piano player, drummer, and other guitar/bass players.

This is the only thing I recorded from Anime Boston 2010.

this whole performance was amazing. they don't just play the music, they feel it, and you can tell through the wonderful music that they make. i got chills just watching this again. everyone in this orchestra is pure genius.

i staffed this convention as part of technical staff and i am so glad that i came to this. when i heard simple and clean in full orchestra, it honestly gave me chills. ill have to see how AB '11 can top this! :D

I saw this Live at Anime Boston...very moving. This Orchestra produced more than music, every song they played was raised to a level of pure magic. I loved every min of this concert and can't wait for a CD!!!

We were giving her all the support she deserved as a performer - we LOVE the music, and cheering the VGO on was a natural response to their being a damn good group (better than the exceedingly high expectations I had, which really says something). 5,000 people acting like rabid fangirls on crack... I detest noise, but that was a magical experience.
