The sister flips on her back so her hind legs can rip open his belly if he jumps on her. It is a posture that does the most damage. She is probably seriously protecting her cubs and won't have him around. One of my videos shows kittens doing it instinctively, although it is much less ferocious!
I am amazed how the noise and lights of the brigade a couple feet away affected the encounter.
