Tales of Phantasia Gameboy Advance intro - U.S.A. version

Also, for anyone wanting to play the original PLAYSTATION version of this game IN ENGLISH — a fan-translation group by the name of Absolute Zero has made a patch for it, available in the link on their site, http://zettaizero.wordpress.com

If you want the game, it's sold on Play-Asia.com and eBay, though I don't know how much luck you'll have finding it.

The Snes version is so good! The gba version is just so fucking ugly, the graphics just a muddy mess compared to the original, plus scenes are taken out. Do yourself a favor and get the english patch for the snes version.

Or you can do what I did and get the English patch for the PLAYSTATION version! :D It has an extra character and cel-animated cutscenes in some areas! :)

Oh I'm not saying that the SOUND quality is bad — it's the ACTING quality that I find to be rather terrible. xD

However, yes, it most likely COULD have sounded much worse. I'm just sorely disappointed in the quality (or rather, the lack thereof) that NAMCO gave this particular incarnation of the game.

Then again, I have a modded PlayStation and an English fan-translated version of the PS1 ToP, so I care a little less about the GBA version these days! :D

Don't bash it. It's the fucking GAMEBOY ADVANCE. The GBA version is quite impressive. It could have sounded a lot worse.

Because of this, I can no longer take Dhaos seriously.

Even in Vesperia, when you fight him in the Colosseum challenge, I always LOL seeing him. Or when Jade uses indignation in Abyss, I always say, "WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!"
