Also, each language does convey interesting metaphysical qualities. Engish for instance, aswell as Arabic, Sanskrit. Perhaps Hebrew is only one type amongst many? Hebrew as conveying the central relationship with the creator while other languages/religions a peripheral angle. For instance, the word hand in English has the gematria of 24 - the number of bones in the hand. Day has the value of 30; ie; a day is one of 30 days in a month. This is also true for second = 60

the Jew metaphysically superior. It is so important to understand this point. To devise metaphysical theories is to create a classism, and feelings of 'superiority' and arrogance, when the exact opposite is needed.A Jew should be so filled for love of God that he could not bear to see himself act arrogant or presume himself to be indued with greater abilities;to more loved or cherished by God,then his fellow human brothers. There is something quite evil in that presmption and i completely reject it.

meaning, a Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Native American religion; every distinct manifestation of religion that adheres to the basic framework of the 7 noahide laws - perfectly reasonable laws - is following the will of God. The only thing the Jew can boast is that he has been given a primordial revelation; the Torah, the Hebrew language, and its unique message of ethical monotheism is far too conspicuous for mankind to consider "just" another religion. But i dont think this makes...

Also, i am a non-Jew. I admit, i dont agree with everything he says, particularly the metaphysical explanations of the 'superiority' of the Jewish soul over the gentile soul. I think there is something fundementally wrong and divisive about that approach. I follow Elijah Benamozegh or Raphael Samson Hirsch. Jews and Gentils serving God together in their own roles. One cannot say - and shouldnt say - God is more pleased with either, because he wills both (something Jews should try to acknowledge)

@amixofeverything I have read a few Rabbi Ginsburgh book, like meditation for the nations - a book aimed for gentiles (a group you apparently think Rav ginsburgh hates enough to take their livers), and have enjoyed his online content - both meditations and writings, for many years. He seems resectful enough in each book; and he looks and conducts himself like a holy man. I would hope he recognizes, and i do believe he does recognize, the value of a non-Jews life.

@amixofeverything I'm actually not a racist, not in a way you understand the term. And have you met and learned with or from Rav Ginsburgh? I am almost quite certain not, he is AWESOME, and very Holy, you are making a grave mistake by assuming what you have heard of him is right. Once, he gave a lecture about the a group of rebels accusing Moses of fornicating with the wives of the entire Jewish nation. Our religion forbids us to believe in bad things said of another, considered evil.

@Sweetashanni You have the right to be a racist, but that does not make racism ok. Racism is wrong because it is pre judging somebody simply because of ethnicity, as if you could really control what you are born. Jews are no better or worse a people than anybody else, and certainly there has been a lot of ugly racism against Jews throughout history. So, it seems quite wrong that Jews would defend racism. And, yes, Rav Ginsburg is a well-known racist and ugly individual.
-
@amixofeverything what's wrong with being racist? As long as you don't harm people because of it, you are entitled to dislike whoever you want, and if someone forces you to like anyone, we call that "Control," But he is NOT a hate monger, I know him, he is a peaceful man, and all he did was endorse a book written by someone who said those things. He never said it was okay to murder non-Jews that is insanity. The idea of taking a non-Jew's liver was not as opposed to taking a Jew's
-
@Sweetashanni Bullshit. He is a racist, straight-up. He has said it is ok to murder non-Jews to take their livers if a Jew needs a liver. That is evil, and yet, if you call him out on that, some how you are anti-Semitic? Most modern Orthodox Jews I know don't like him all that much because he is a hate-mongerer.
“If a Jew needs liver, can you take the liver of an innocent non-Jew passing by to save him? The Torah would probably permit that. Jewish life has an infinite value. There is something infinitely more holy and unique about Jewish life than non-Jewsih life.”
- Rabbi Yitzhak Ginsburg, April 26 1996 issue of Jewish Week
Funny how the biggest heroes of the Jews are also the biggest racists...
