Drew Cerza and Company did it again, only this time it was bigger and better than ever. The lines were a bit ridiculous at times on sunday but that didn't stop people from enjoying the 2010 National Chicken Wing Festival in Buffalo.
This year the wing festival served up more than 90 thousand pounds of chicken wings and 23 thousand pounds of frying oil. It was the largest chicken wing order for any festival ever in the United States. Visitors came from all 50 states and 36 different countries.
The highlight as always was the national eating competition that brought some of the world's biggest names in competitive eating to WNY. The competitors had twelve minutes to eat as many wings as possible and as usual, reigning chicken wing eating champ Sonya "black widow" Thomas beat crowd favorite Joey "Jaws" Chestnut to reclaim her title for the third year in a row.
Thomas ate 4.8 pounds of chicken wings, setting a new world record.

In order for this to be accurate, the wing portions for each competitor would have to be weighed before the competitors started eating as well as after?
