  • Superb paint job but since you decided not to strip the paint off first, you could have at least filed or used sandpaper with the corners and edges. That would have been perfect.

  • Background Music anyone?

  • Excellent repaint! ...Conan ost=EPIC!

  • Its cool, but you could have saved a lot of time just by repainting certain areas like the eye, and adding blood, with hue added to the horns and teeth and just highlight the rest with dry brushing, very nice though., Much better looking then the stock form.

  • Oh so so so incredibly cool!

  • AWESOME!

really good work dude. you should be proud of your self.

i couldnt do that even if it have eternity to do it XD

  • my day is going better now after watching this beholder "make over"

  • fucking sickest paint job ever man

  • Very nice job! Must have taken a while to paint up the old Eye Tyrant. I agree that alot of the D&D miniatures have sub par paint jobs. I don't have the patience for painting figs sadly. I'm just a terrain designer instead.

  • @bluemoonminis i see. i've often fancied repainting some of my D&D minis - they make decent proxies, but they're pretty darn ugly, as paint jobs go. i'm still pretty amateur, though... it'll be some time before i'd be near your level of quality.

BTW - i think the blood is an awesome touch! So what if Beholders like to keep themselves clean - who's to say this one didn't just bite the head of some poor bastard?
