  • Ulali is organic and traditional sounds.... When the Great spirit manifests through divine sound it is self evident. Others can imitate but the feeling has no potency.

All one needs to do is listen and feel.

  • Please don't refer to Walela on a Ulali thread, Ulali predates Walela. Walela also bit off of Ulali.

  • Sublime! ... I especially love the first half .. I could listen to it all day. They have the most perfect and beautiful layering of harmonies I have ever heard. Thanks for posting:) Hopefully they have a comeback and go touring one day, to Australia (in my dreams:) In the mean time I'm soooo glad there are recordings like this one to keep them alive and appreciated forever!

  • I like Walela, but I consider them 'Native American Lite'. Sort of like I consider The Celtic Women "Celtic Lite". Beautiful but watered down. Thank you for putting Ulali up for us to hear!

  • I love this song. It says so much.

  • Walela - consisting of Rita Coolidge, her sister and others - record and perform traditional songs. While they sound similar to Ulali, theirs are more Cherokee and Apache.

  • Is there any way that anyone knows a group sounds similar to Ulali?

  • I absolutley love the blend of all of them together.

  • I have always loved their music. I'm proud to be one of their friends. I always get goosebumps.
