This 1966 Corvette Convertible is sure to turn heads, and is in very nice condition as well. Originally assembled on September 28, 1965, this car shows recent paint in very good condition, and a brand new convertible top as well. Tonneau cover shows hardware for an auxiliary hardtop; although this car did not come to us with a hardtop, we can provide a matching hardtop for an additional $1,700. Chrome bumpers look to be older, but are in very good condition with no pitting or major scratches. Exterior door handles are in good condition as well, and the weatherstripping is brand new and in excellent condition. Taillights are older, but in good condition with no major cracks. This car wears original hubcaps in good condition, with brand new Firestone whitewall tires. The interior of this 1966 Corvette Convertible shows good condition seat covers, center console, door panels, dash pads, and steering wheel. Correct loop carpet is in very good condition as well, and the original AM/FM radio is still in place. Gauges show typical fading, but very clear lenses. The engine in this 1966 Corvette Convertible is no doubt a Chevrolet V8 engine, and shows casting date code L282. This engine's casting number is obscured by a bracket, and the stamp pad has been resurfaced and is bare. Exhaust manifolds show casting numbers that would be correct for a 1966-68 small block Corvette, and the intake manifold's casting number would be correct for a 1966-67 327/300hp Corvette. Correct style brake master cylinder is present. Ignition shielding is in place, and the engine compartment and chassis are detailed and rust-free. Under the hood additions include 350hp style finned aluminum valve covers, and a Be Cool aluminum radiator. This rare Red/Red convertible won't be here forever, call us now!
