BAMBI - Star du Carrousel de Paris et Madame Arthur

Dans les années 50, Marie-Pierre Pruvot devient, sous le nom de Bambi, la Star
du "Carrousel de Paris" et "Madame Arthur". Pendant une vingtaine d'années elle
partage la scène avec son amie Coccinelle. Elle vient de publier son
autobiographie, « Marie, parce que c'est joli », aux éditions Bonobo

Marie-Pier (bambi's RL name) was mostly interested in performing as a means of transitioning and supporting herself, not as a lifelong career. She was always more academically inclined and taught French Lit in high school for years while living in 'stealth'. The only reason she's come out is because she's retired from teaching. Such an incredible woman!
