So you guys think this is what Coldplay and U2 want to see? Their fans arguing about Coldplay and U2 songs... no! Coldplay are inspired by U2 and they respect U2 and U2 respects Coldplay! They enjoy each others music, they're not arguing about which band that makes the better music!!! So stop arguing about this nonsense! You can't compare two songs like this... everyone has their own opinions! And there is no such thing as "right music". Music is all the music ever produced on this earth!

Coldplay totally ripped off U2's sound. That doesn't mean Coldplay aren't a great band-- they are. It's just that you're trying to pit the student against the master. The master (U2) will always win.

i like u2, but Coldplay is better it's like comparing the beatles with elvisk u2 was great to the older generatoins but Coldplay makes botgh young and older generations rock. Mylo Xyloto made that clear!. I love u2 but i LOVE Coldplay!

In my opinion (as hardcore U2 fan) Coldplay is really creative band and they are seriously pretenders to take place of U2, if U2 ends for some reason activity of the band. New album of U2 shows that won't be soon, but of course that will happen some sad day.
