My phone was vibrating and I picked it up, it was a text from Nick.

Nick: where ru? plz tell me u didnt run away. i didnt mean it & im sry.
Julia: since when did u care?
Nick: since now. tell me where u r.
Julia: it dsnt matter.
Nick: yes, it does.
Julia: i kno u rly dnt care. my mum would just kill u if u lost me.
Nick: YES I DO!
Julia: but you have miley.
I felt like I was going to start crying again.
Nick: look, i said tht out of anger & didnt mean it.

Demi texted Nick and told him to come to her bus. Nick was there in a few seconds. Demi told me to hide in the pantry of her kitchen so I could listen to the whole thing. I just wanted to see if Nick was really sorry.
Nick: Where the hell is she?!
He sounded worried.
Demi: Calm down! My mom is sleeping!
Nick: Seriously, where is she?
Demi: Im not sure! But thats beside the point.
Nick: No, its really not. Now bye. Im going to look for her!
Demi: Wait! No! Er... Nick, do you really love her?
Nick: Yes.
Demi: Do you still want her to be your girlfriend?
Nick: Yes.
Demi: Then why did you yell at her?
Nick: Its a very long, personal story I dont want to get into. But I know thats no excuse.
Demi: Why didnt you tell her to open the locket?
Nick: How do you know about that?
Demi: Nick, Julia is my best friend. I know everything.
Nick: Okay... well I didnt tell her because, well Im not sure. Now that I think about it I probably should have.
Demi: Well you should have seen her. She opened up that locket, and kept doing it. It made her remember the day she didnt have to deal with her dad, Nick youve changed her life so much. You just reminded her of her dad when you yelled at her, and you really scared her.
Nick: I, I scared her?
Demi: Yea.
Nick: Well now I feel like crap.
Nick walked out of the bus, I heard him open up the door. I came out of the pantry.
Julia: Where did he go?
Demi: Outside to think.
Julia: Okay, Ill go out the back and come around.
Demi: Okay, good luck. I love you chicka!
Julia: Love you too!
I gave her a hug and went out the back exit, around the bus, and to where Nick was sitting on the ground. I could hear him singing.

Nick: Sometimes I wish,
I had a kung-fu grip,
Never let her slip away shed be my girl,
And I wish she knew,
What I feel is true,
She would be my doll and I would be her hero too.

Julia: N-Nick?
Nick: Im so sorry Julia, I didnt mean to scare you. Come here.
He hugged me and we both sat on the ground beside Demis bus.
Nick: Julia, will you be my girlfriend?
