Masada

Masada was a major source of inspiration for the men who defended the Alamo in the Texas War of Independence.

Flavius Silva, commander in Roman Palestine, wants to reach a reasonable compromise with the Jewish Zealots and withdraw his legion. Events and personalities in Rome, however, lead to his besieging the fortress of Masada. There the engineering genius of the Romans must fight both the harsh climate and landscape, and the passion and ingenuity of Eleazar Ben Yair and his people.

@lions1178 The truth is unfortunately that u had been indoctrinated into believing the ancient Jews & Israelites were black. Yet in the entire Tanakh (Jewish Bible) only 2 black persons are mentioned as being somehow realted to Israelites and they're referred by the "niggro" (Kushi) appellation.

The 3rd time rome flattened israel was after another uprising and as you know the war was mainly a guerilla war and the defending of heavily fortified posistions . There were no full scale set battles , if there had been it would of been over far quicker . If the romans deployed into battle lines on a flat area then every enemy fell including britons , macedonians , greek , gaul and germanic foes - the new israel learnt that when surrounded by enermies use a hammer to smash a nut
