You Are Not Alone (Michael Jackson) Guitar Cover

Today (date of upload) would have been Michael Jackson's 51st Birthday, and to commemorate this I have recorded this somewhat different version of his well known hit You Are Not Alone.

Michael Jackson was an inspiration to me and one of the very few artists I liked when I was growing up. His music is top drawer on every level and after leaving us so young I had to pay a respectable tribute to him, being a musician myself.

Due to the raw talent always present in his music, and his incredible vocal ability, I knew I would not be able to sing a single one of his songs. Therefore, I have made a guitar instrumental version that I believe matches the vocals of the song as best as I possibly could, with the most amount of feeling and passion that I could express.

A Few Final Words...


I am extremely sad that the King of Pop is no longer with us, however I feel much more fortunate and thankful that I was alive to see a legend doing what he does best, and also had the chance to see him once in concert.

Is it me or did this guy make the song sound even more beautiful, sexy and seductive!!!! I mean just think about this for a minute...... what if mj actually heard this song version and wanted to do the song over again with LMP but this time using this version of his song!!!! it will make it so much better especially cause he's naked in the video!!!!!!

@ArMoRx4xSleEpxGirl Cheers! And yeh completely by ear. I've listened to MJ since I was like 6 and know most of his songs pretty well, hence it not being too difficult to play the vocal notes on guitar, with a few improvised variations slotted in :)

haha lmao. those were the days when xp was brand new and i only really had a pathetic £50 camera that recorded very low resolution/quality videos - however the audio wasn't really that bad! nowadays however, i'm using a JVC everio HD 1080p 120gb HDD camcorder :p oh yes its awesome :D the vids take up a heck of a lot of space tho - i think this one (lasting only 5ish minutes) took up about 0.9GB, lol
