See the rehearsal process for Walking Fish Theatre's new family-friendly show for 2009! These aren't your grandma's fairy tales, but bring Grandma anyway! http://www.walkingfishtheatre.com
Do you remember the first time a grownup took you to see a live performance? Now's your opportunity to be that great grownup who introduces a kid to live theatre. Plus, this show is fun for all generations.
Regular theatergoers and the new kids will love the performances by adult actors Asaki Kumura (Cloud Tectonics) and Mike Smith (Family Theatre Series), and child actors Lena Kelsall, 8 (of Fishtown) and Michael Trainor, 11 (of Port Richmond).
The audience may take smaller roles in some bits such as Snow White and the Several Dwarves when they sing their audition piece for Philadelphia Idol. All performers also helped write the script.
This show, directed by Michelle Pauls, (Managing Artistic Director of B. Someday Productions) is an experience to remember for a lifetime.
So glad to see you are doing A FRACTURED CHRISTMAS CAROL. I cannot wait to see it. And happy to see there are 13 SHOWS!!
