Well, Bono admits that "he doesn't know what the truth is."
Jesus says, "you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free."

@ceeker248 i don't even think that could be classified as "scholarship". to say it misrepresents is like saying rockwell's santa claus is "a bit chunky:" an understatement. what gets me is why people buy into it without doing the research themselves. oh, i forgot. we can't trust history but we CAN trust peter joseph? never trust a guy with two first names. btw, i believe the Bible because it explains the world like no other "religion" and offers something completely different. merry Christmas :)

@elhombredantanner Plus its horrible scholarship more like propaganda that misrepresents and twists facts.

@TechArcturian If you had really done your research then you would realize that what you are saying is the opposite of the truth. The 'symbolism" of Zoo TV was an artistic device that the band used to criticize the media and the way they try to control people. Macphisto was a character that was used in much the same way. Bono used him to take credit for the wrong things being done under our noses by our leaders. He was inspired by the book Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis! A CHRISTIAN WRITER!
